"PAINT, PLANT, PRESERVE" is a community day of work and celebration to foster vibrancy in this former Ewa Plantation Town community. It is for all ages and family-friendly. The event is free.

PAINT will start at 6:30 a.m. with volunteers painting and refurbishing the big wheel by the "Welcome to Historic Ewa Villages" sign and other former Ewa Sugar Mill gears and implements dotting Renton Road.

PLANT will be for planting plumeria trees in front of the former Ewa Plantation Manager's House. It is also about seeds and plant giveaways, and plant care tips at the Ewa Elementary School Cafeteria at 10:00 a.m..

PRESERVE will be activities inside the Ewa Elementary School cafeteria starting at 10:00 a.m. There will be photo displays of Ewa Plantation community period pictures that will surely trigger talk stories. Attendees can bring their own pictures from the Ewa Plantation time for scanning and preserving.

There will also be a keiki corner;, community resource information tables, stage entertainment of songs, dances, history telling, and cooking demos with garden ingredients; and food trucks.
