“Hawai’i Intergenerational Network (HIN) and HIN’s Homesharing Hawai’i (HH) program as a Caregiver Resource”:
Martha Ross will describe the Hawai’i Intergenerational Network (HIN), nonprofit organization, and the HIN's Homesharing Hawai'i (HH) program. HIN HH helps independent kupuna remain in their own homes as long as possible more safely and healthily, without facing social isolation and loneliness. The program also helps increase the availability of affordable places to live on O'ahu. The presentation will explain how HIN HH brings together home owners and home seekers who are interested in home sharing in exchange for chores, rent, or some combination.
