    Generation’s Magazine’s 15th annual Aging in Place Workshop was held on Saturday, August 12 at the Ala Moana Hotel.

  • The 26th Annual Senior Fair Was a Huge Success!

    The event had more than 22,000 attendees and 250 exhibit booths, including free seminars, craft demonstrations, valuable information on travel and leisure, financial advice, exercise equipment, home products, nutrition, seasonal flu shots, reverse mortgages, retirement communities, games and federal, state and city & county services.

    “With a myriad of lifestyles being represented for the 50-plus population of Hawai‘i, this special event has become a barometer of all the advances and improvements made for seniors,” says Mike Rossell, the show’s producer.

    A “Big Mahalo” goes out to this year’s Senior Fair Ambassador, Kirk Matthews, who spent hours signing the inaugural issue of Generations Magazine.

  • The AIP Workshop: Sharing Expertise & Aloha

    The 12th Aging in Place Workshop held on August 18 at the Ala Moana Hotel brought our readers and their friends and family in contact with Generations Magazine’s partners in a vibrant atmosphere of sharing and learning. More than 60 exhibitors and 20 presenters informed and encouraged attendees in their quest for knowledge about how to successfully navigate this stage of life. Mahalo to the Hawai‘i Lions and Leos of District 50, who welcomed and assisted them!

    With attendance high, many of the most popular talks drew large crowds, eager to learn more about the topics.
    Presenters who are experts in their field covered everything from keeping fit to caregiving to retirement planning.

  • 11th Annual Aging In Place Workshop 2017

    The 11th Annual Aging in Place Workshop, hosted by Generations Magazine, took place on Aug. 19, 2017, in the Ala Moana Hotel, with more than 3,000 in attendance. The free, all-day event featured speakers in estate planning, care giving, aging in place, long-term care, Medicaid and Medicare, Social Security, de-cluttering, holistic healthcare, stress-relief and much more.
